Closed Test Terms

RANKAI is in a closed test. Only people the operator has invited by email address can store data. These short terms cover the test. Fuller Terms of Service will replace them before any public launch, and you will be asked to agree to those separately.

1. The test

RANKAI is a personal, non-commercial project run by its operator, Matthew Bravo, an individual in Alaska, United States. You are using a pre-release version to try it out and give feedback. It may change, break, or be reset at any time, and the test may end without notice. Features, data and the address of the site may change before launch.

2. Who may take part

You must be at least 13 years old and invited by the operator. If you sign in without an invitation, your account cannot store anything. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell the operator if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Your content

Your watch statuses, ratings, tier boards, username and display name remain yours. You allow RANKAI to store them, show them back to you, compute an average rating from everyone's ratings, and, only when you choose to share a board, show that board to anyone with the link. Do not use names or share content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that impersonates someone.

4. What RANKAI does not promise

The test is provided as is. The catalog may be incomplete or wrong, episode times are estimates after 8 October 2026, and data may be lost during the test. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from the test; the operator's total liability for any claim is limited to US $100. Download your data from the Profile page if you want to keep a copy.

5. Anime titles and artwork

Titles, studios, air dates and poster images belong to their rights holders and are shown for identification during the test. If you believe something is used improperly, tell the operator and it will be reviewed promptly.

6. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. The operator may remove test accounts that break these terms or when the test ends, after giving notice on the site where reasonably possible.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska and the United States.
